After a good workout you need a way to replenish electrolytes and one way to do that is through a sports drink. Sports drinks, however convenient,  may contain sugar and artificial colouring, which isn’t exactly the healthiest way to supplement a sweat session. So how about making your own  DIY Sports drink with  taurine for safer recovery below are 5 recipes to try and super quick to put together.

Electrolytes are like the power lines of our body—they conduct electrical signals that maintain fluid levels, acid-base balance, and muscle function. When you lose water through sweat,  out go the electrolytes, too.

Making your own sports drinks is super easy. You want your DIY sports drink  & taurine recipe to include water, sugar, salt, and a source of potassium like orange juice,  A simpler formula of coconut water, maple syrup (a good source of potassium), salt, and of course taurine will do the trick, too.

High quality ingredients dont forget the taurine

Here are five easy recipes for your DIY sports drinks. Just make sure you choose high-quality coconut water and salt with its natural mineral content intact (think Himalayan sea salt, instead of the refined table variety) to get the most out of each sip.

To optimise your sports recovery, Taurine powder is a must to give you that extra ability to train longer, stronger and safer, without paying the price afterwards!
